Michigan Mobility Wallet Challenge
Available In:
Jackson, Hillsdale, Kent, Lenawee, and Wayne Counties
What It Is:
Mobility Wallets give people the funds they need to access local transportation. You can use these funds through a mobile app, an online portal, or by calling our support center.
Eligibility & Signup:
To qualify for Mobility Wallet funding, you need to be a Veteran or live in a low-income household.
Veterans: If you’re a Veteran and want to join the program, please call 1 (800) 810-7696. Our agents at the Community Operations Support Center will help you sign up for the Michigan Mobility Wallet.
Low-Income Households: If you live in a low-income household, you’ll need a referral from one of our Community Referral Partners to join the program.

What It Is:
Provides fare-free transportation to and from all vaccinations and boosters for Washtenaw County residents.
Eligibility & Signup:
We provide rides for COVID-19 testing, vaccine or booster appointments, other vaccines or boosters, follow-up healthcare visits, pharmacy trips, and caregiver transportation. To get a ride for a vaccination or booster, please call (734) 259-4125.

National Institute of Health Community Partnerships to Advance Science for Society (NIH COMPASS)

A 10-year study on the impact of transportation on chronic illness, with a primary focus on advancing health equity through mobility.

What It Is:
This initiative offers people the chance to enroll in our automotive subscription program of $399/month, primarily for employment purposes.
The lease includes vehicle maintenance and monthly payments, helping individuals plan for long-term mobility. The vehicle can be leased for up to one year.
Eligibility & Signup:
To join the Elevate initiative, you need a referral from a partner agency, such as United Way of Southeastern Michigan or LM Manufacturing.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be employed
- Have a credit score of 500 or higher
- Hold a valid driver’s license
- Pass a background check and motor vehicle record check
